2022 - what a year!
Like 2021, this year had its obstacles to overcome, but life began to take on a sense of normality again too.
Here at Cobry we wanted to take the opportunity to look back on the year that was, review our accomplishments, and set the direction for 2023….. Read on!
In 2022 Cobry has continued to refine who we are as a company.
We've grown considerably over the past 3 years, and we know our success is the result of our people. 2022 was the first full year we’ve had a 4 day work week for all staff. It’s been an absolute game-changer and has increased our productivity whilst also ensuring all staff have time to walk their dogs, climb our beautiful Scottish hills, and generally wind down.
We’ve strengthened our remote-first culture - supporting staff to work from anywhere. We’ve also committed to increasing staff training, development and benefits, led by our new People Success Lead.
Sustainability remains core to who we are, and Cobry is committed to the United Nations seventeen Sustainable Development Goals. Over the last year we’ve focused our efforts on championing customer innovation, forging sustainable partnerships and supporting our community. Our Sustainability Committee is in full swing and also we’ve partnered with Compare Your Footprint to help our customers calculate their total carbon footprint and make measurable change.
Our development team has gone from strength to strength in 2022. We launched Cobry Compass - a completely new service using Google Cloud Platform to help businesses make data-driven decisions. We also made our internal guide to data public. And if you haven’t checked it out yet - now is the time! Our handbook will answer all your questions about data in organisations - and it’s free to download and use.
The team also upskilled to become accredited professional cloud engineers, with data engineering on the horizon, and we launched a brand new chatbot on the Google marketplace.
Our tech team successfully completed Google workspace deployments and migrations across diverse sectors from Technology to Manufacturing to Transport.
We also expanded our technical knowledge base to cover all the latest features and edge cases from our project experience.
As always, keeping our customers happy was a top priority. We’ve improved our efficiency in processing tickets and achieved 100% SLA resolution over the last 8 months.
Sales & marketing
Our sales and marketing team has grown from 2 to 5 in 2022. We’ve partnered with innovative companies like 1Password and Compare Your Footprint and released over 25 videos and blogs to upskill our customers on all things Google.
We’ve also been attending tech events in person again. We represented Cobry at Digital DNA and DIGITExpo, as well as visiting London to strengthen our relationship with Google.
2023 and beyond
To our customers, thank you. Many of you have been with us for years, and in 2022 we’ve also welcomed many new customers with challenging problems - and satisfying solutions.
