Working with Cobry
“As a small charity with a tradition of home working with standalone equipment and a variety of different software packages, we sought to find out more about the latest technologies and how we could improve our working practices.
Our initial aims were to improve internal communication, centralise the storage of documents and to learn more about the latest online collaborative tools. We approached Cobry to discuss requirements and they quickly explained the benefits of working in an online collaborative environment and how the Google Workspace platform could deliver all that we required at a cost effective price.
I’m very pleased to say that we found Cobry very approachable and from the outset were confident in their ability to lead us through the project. They welcomed our involvement throughout the various stages of the project and were always on hand to provide technical assistance when required.
Their availability throughout the project for consultancy, technical support and training was important and they delivered on all accounts including a last minute change to the training courses which had to be moved online due to the recent Covid-19 restrictions. This tested the new technology which proved to be very effective and ensured the project was delivered on time.
We will continue to work with Cobry as our Google partner for ongoing support and to keep up with future developments and would not hesitate to recommend them for similar projects.”

Switching to a cloud-based system supports the geopark’s vision of using the latest technologies to enable their geographically dispersed team to work better together with new collaboration tools, while also increasing security and reducing their running costs with free licences through the Google for Nonprofits program.
